Starfish will commence with launch of the Otter vehicle in 2027, Trevor Bennett, the firm's cofounder, told Breaking Defense.
"This BAA helps NRO advance emerging technologies across launch, on-orbit support, and command & control," said Col. Eric J. Zarybnisky, director of NRO's Office of Space Launch.
"I think the US national security community is going to shape commercial space for the foreseeable future," Carissa Bryce Christensen, CEO of BryceTech, told Breaking Defense.
